Welcome to Nanabelle's Staff Picks! Here you can find out what products are personal favourites of Nanabelle's staff. We are proud of the fact that we are a small family-owned business that can offer our customers individual service that we feel has been often neglected these days. This friendly and personal atmosphere is made possible by the fact that we are real people and not an automated machine; our different personalities can complement each other and our customers needs - we always endeavour to work together to make sure you are assisted by someone who's on your wavelength, so to speak!

 So if you're stuck and simply can't choose from our wide range of gift ideas, you mught find inspiration here - after all, there's no better compliment for a good product than a personal recommendation!

It will take a little time to get this section fully up and running - even the staff have a hard time choosing their favourites from the vast array on offer! Andrea – Web Maintenance.

I’ve worked for Nanabelle’s since 2006, starting out on the shop floor. I now work mainly from home, uploading the products you see online and generally making sure the website looks as it should. Working this way is great for me as I’m also a student -  I have far more flexibility to fit work around studying than any other student I know! I love cats (but not as much as Leigh!) and regularly play in the university orchestra – transporting my rather large double bass in my rather small car!

Leigh - Supervisor/Sales

I thought I liked cats - until I met Leigh! She has eight of them - 3 grown-ups and 5 kittens that arrived soon after their mummy, an unloved stray, arrived and Leigh nursed her back to health. Leigh is Kathleen's daughter. She will be starting a Master's degree in October, at the same university that I attend - so we'll have even more chances to get together and put the world to rights! She's into alternative music and gothic style, so she’s the one to ask if you’re after a gift for somebody who doesn’t like to be too conventional – she’s bound to help you come up with something cool and unique.

Kathleen is the driving force behind Nanabelle’s. She’s the owner/manager and is the one who has to deal with overseeing all the ordering, making sure stock has arrived when it’s meant to, organising staff and all that jazz! She’s always open to new ideas for the business ; it doesn’t matter if it comes from a supervisor or a new sale assistant, if it’s a good initiative, she’ll put it in place – which means we all feel we have something important to contribute to Nanabelle’s.
